Japan is a land of wonder, full of natural wonder and cultural surprises. For a glimpse of its wonderful natural attractions, head to the mountainous area of Hakone. Here’s where you enjoy natural hot springs and (on clear day) a stunning view of Mt. Fuji at Lake Ashinoko.

Kyoto was previously the capital of Japan for over a millennium. Since it escaped the ravages of WWII, the stunning historical temples and shrines are well preserved until today. Some must visit ones are Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-ji Temple and Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

Similar to Kyoto, Nara is also a city famed for its temples, shrines and ruins. Some notable landmarks are the Todai-ji Temple Daibutsuden Hall (world’s largest wooden building) and historic monuments of Ancient Nara such as the Kofuku-ji and the Kasuga Grand Shrine.
