Salang is located at the North-West of Pulau Tioman. It is the last stop for all ferry services from Mersing. Salang Beach Resort is situated on the left of Salang jetty. You need to walk about 5 minutes to reach the resort. You will pass by Salang Indah Resort and Dive Asia before you get here.
There are 58 rooms here. Most are basic ones with attached bathrooms with no hot shower (I don't think you need it anyway). There are about 20 units of air-conditioned room that can fit in twin-sharing pax, while another 20 air-conditioned units can fit in up to 4 persons.
To satisfy your gastronomic need, there is a rather excellent Chinese restaurant at this resort. You can opt to sit at the benches by the beach for a nice dinner time watching the ocean.
Salang Chinese Restaurant: A spacious restaurant towards the southern end of the beach which caters more to locals and Singaporean guests.
