Hidden away by the sea, surrounded by lush green tropical garden, exotic plants and flowers is MATAHARI BUNGALOW.
Just a few minutes from the beach, 15 minutes from Ngurah Rai International airport and 20 minutes to Denpasar, the capital city of Bali.
The 28 Standard Rooms, 24 Deluxe Rooms and 5 Suites (also known as "Villas") each have a private verandah, individually controlled air-conditioning, bath room with shower, hot and cold running water, IDD phone and TV (local channels only, but Satellite is planned). Rooms have recently been refurbished and a refrigerator available in Standard, Deluxe and Suite Room.
Standard Rooms face the shaded pathway leading from the lobby to the swimming pool, and are slightly smaller than Deluxe Rooms, which overlook the large garden and pool area.
One of the 5 Suites has Twin beds whilst the other 4 have Kings. Villas also boast a large living area, full kitchen (with gas stove & fridge - crockery on request) and large "spa bath".
Unlike many budget category hotels, Matahari Bungalows has a large open area garden and swimming pool, with pool bar and landscaped gardens. The restaurant serves a selection of Indonesian, European and Chinese cuisine. Breakfast is served daily and consists of eggs, toast, fruit, pancakes, noodles/rice, etc (no sausage, bacon etc).
