Milford Sound is a fjord in the south west of New Zealand's South Island, within Fiordland National Park and the Te Wahipounamu World Heritage site. It has been judged the world's top travel destination in an international, and is acclaimed as New Zealand's most famous tourist destination. Among its most striking features are Mitre Peak, rising 1,692 m above the sound, the Elephant at 1,517 m and resembling an elephant’s's head, and Lion Mountain, 1,302 m, in the shape of a crouching lion. Lush rain forests cling precariously to these cliffs, while seals, penguins and dolphins populate the water.
Discover the rugged scenery along one of New Zealand's most awe-inspiring highways. Your journey will take you past breathtaking sights, from high mountain peaks to the blue lakes of Wakatipu, Dunstan, Wanaka and Hawea. Day 1
ARRIVE CHRISTCHURCH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Upon arrival at Christchurch International Airport, meet and greet by our representative before transfers to hotel.
After check in, free at own leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2
CHRISTCHURCH – MT. COOK – QUEENSTOWN (B)
After breakfast, depart from Christchurch across the broad expanse of the Canterbury Plains with the snow capped peaks of the Southern Alps to the west. Enter the foothills near Geraldine and ascend Burkes Pass into the barren Mackenzie Country.
View the Church of the Good Shepherd, dedicated to the early pioneers of the region and the Collie Dog Memorial overlooking the milky blue waters of Lake Tekapo. The world famous Church of the Good Shepherd offers awe-inspiring views of Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps through its altar window.
Next, proceed on a journey into the Mt Cook National Park. A stop at the Mt Cook Alpine Village allows time for you to enjoy the scenic majesty of New Zealand's highest snow capped peaks before travelling to Queenstown.
On arrival check into hotel and free at own leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 3
QUEENSTOWN – MILFORD SOUND – QUEENSTOWN (B)
After breakfast, your departure from Queenstown trancends you to an unforgettable journey into the heart of Milford Sound, one of the most iconic destinations in NZ, and for good reason.
You'll then proceed to the stunning Mirror Lakes, a great place to stop off and spend exploring and photographing, before passing through the Eglinton Valley, to Homer Tunnel, emerging above the Cleddau Valley.
At the deep waters of Milford Sound, board your cruise, where you'll experience the world famous fiord - rich in dense rainforest, glacier carved valleys and beautiful waterfalls.
Overnight in Queenstown.

After breakfast, free at own leisure where you can explore the city or enjoy your time in the hotel. It is your choice.

Day 5
QUEENSTOWN – FOX GLACIER (B)
After breakfast, discover the rugged scenery along one of New Zealand's most awe-inspiring highways while you travel from Queenstown to Fox Glacier. Your journey will take you past breathtaking sights, from high mountain peaks to the blue lakes. When you arrive at Fox Glacier you will instantly feel rejuvenated in its intimate, village atmosphere. It has a stunning outlook across surrounding farms and offers breathtaking views of New Zealand’s highest peaks Aoraki (Mt Cook) and Mt Tasman. Fox Glacier, a majestic 14km long tongue of ice that descends to 250 meters above sea level, will show the sheer size and beauty of these natural wonders and provide fantastic photo opportunities, promises a captivating experience.

Day 6
FOX GLACIER – GREYMOUTH – TRANZALPINE TRAIN – CHRISTCHURCH (B)
After breakfast, be ready to take on your Greymouth adventure, visiting to the town of Hokitika, taking a walk through exceptional quality of local arts and craft, individually designed and crafted jade sculptures and jewellery. Enjoy a truly wonderful experience on board the Tranzalpine train to Christchurch, perhaps the most scenic train ride in New Zealand, With the most spectacular views through the amazing misty mountain scenery of the Southern Alps and Arthur's Pass, the train ride offers a relaxing and pleasant way to see more of the country's amazing scenery.
