Highlights: English-speaking guide Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Fatehpuri Sikri & City Palace Complex Amber Fort & Birla Temple Elephant Ride Old & New Delhi
New Delhi, the capital and the third largest city of India is a fusion of the ancient and the modern. Delhi displays a picture rich with culture, architecture and human diversity, deep in history, monuments, museums, galleries, gardens and exotic shows. Comprising of two contrasting yet harmonious parts, the Old Delhi and New Delhi, the city is a travel hub of Northern India.
Steeped with Mughal history, Old Delhi, takes you through the labyrinthine streets passing through formidable mosques, monuments and forts. You will also discover lively and colorful bazaars which boasts of goods and items at mind-blowing prices in the midst of a barely controlled chaotic ambience.
The imperial city of New Delhi displays the finely curved architecture of the British Raj. It generates a mesmerizing charm reflecting well-composed and spacious streets under the shade of beautifully lined avenues of trees and tall and imposing government buildings.
Agra, formerly known as Akbarabad, was once a symbol of Mughal power and aspiration, but it was also their residence and they filled it with gardens and elegant palaces. It was the capital of India during the Mughal era. It's a city of rich heritage of art, culture and architecture. The most famous building of the city is obviously the Taj Mahal, the king Shah Jahan built it for his loving wife Mumtaj Mahal. It is one of the New 7 Wonders of the world, and one of three World Heritage Sites in the city, the others being Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. The great Taj Mahal appears pink in the morning, white during the noon and golden in the moon light.
Jaipur, the Pink City is the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur is surrounded on all sides by rugged hills, crowned with forts & enclosed by embattled walls. Houses with latticed windows line the streets with their rose pink colour, lending enchantment to the scene, which is almost magical at sunset.
The whole city was painted in pink colour by Maharaja Man Singh II when Prince of Wales, later Edward VII, visited Jaipur in 1876 AD.
Jaipur & its surroundings are rather like an endless museum. The city also offers an endless variety of crafts. Jaipur's lacquer bangles are famous all over the world.

NEW DELHI - TAJ MAHAL - AGRA FORT - AGRA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, proceed to Agra where we will visit Taj Mahal. For centuries, Taj Mahal has inspired poets, painters and musicians to try and capture its elusive magic in word, colour and song. It is one of the most flawless architectural creations of the world.
Next, visit Agra Fort which was built principally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565. The red sandstone Agra fort was partially converted into a palace during Shah Jahan's time. Though the principal structure was built by Akbar, many more additions were made by his grandsons. This massive fort is 2.5 kms long and is considered as the predecessor of the Delhi Red fort. The colossal walls are 20 feet high and the whole fort is encircled by a fetid moat.
AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - CITY PALACE - JAIPUR (B,L,D)
After breakfast, visit Fatehpur Sikri, one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. Though the city is in ruins, it is definitely a place to visit if you have the opportunity to stop in Agra. But in real terms Fatehpur Sikri is a place where one should spend some time. The sunset over the ruins is sight to cherish. Fatehpur Sikri is the best example of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture.
Thereafter we proceed to Jaipur where we visit The City Palace complex which houses several palatial structures. Among the various forts and palaces of Jaipur, City Palace stands apart, with its outstanding art and architecture. City Palace complex covers a huge area, which is divided into a series of gardens, courtyards and buildings. The first building is Mubarak Rahal, built by Maharajah Macho Sigh. It has a beautifully carved marble gate with heavy brass doors on either side of this gate. Beyond this gate lies the Divan-e-Khans, or the "Hall of Private Audience".
JAIPUR - AMBER FORT - ELEPHANT RIDE - BIRLA TEMPLE (B,L,D)

Go for a ride on an elephant to the former capital of the Royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills.
Next, visit Birla Temple which is built by the Birla family in 1988. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Narayan), the preserver and his consort Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. This reason, Birla Temple is also known as Laxmi Narayan Temple.
The Laxmi Narayan Mandir is a modern architectural marvel, surrounded by lush green gardens. The fascinating exteriors of the temple are carved splendidly with beautiful sculptures based of mythological themes, while the interiors have a large marble panel portraying mythological events.
