5D/4N Kota Kinabalu Delights

Day 1

ARRIVE KOTA KINABALU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - KINABALU PARK (D)
Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport, before being transferred to Kinabalu Park, Malaysia National Heritage site. The journey will take about approximately 2 hours where we will be passing by villages, paddy fields along mountainous roads that wind along the Crocker range.

Check into Sutera Sanctuary Lodges after arrival. In the late afternoon, enjoy the mountain garden trail.

Dinner will be served at Liwagu Restaurant.

Overnight at Liwagu Suite.

(Buffet lunch will be provided for arrival before noon)

Day 2

KINABALU PARK (B,L,D)
In the morning, visit Poring Hot Spring which is located approximately 40 km from Kinabalu Park. The hot spring, named after the tall bamboo plant that is abundant in that area, is a natural spring where hot sulfurous water emit from the ground. Soak yourself and let the invigorating sulfurous water stimulate your body in the Japanese Baths. Try the canopy walkway, where suspension bridge are suspended at the top of the canopy for visitors to walk along the canopy of a tropical jungle.

Return to Sutera Sanctuary Lodges for lunch. Continue to Kudasang War Memorial which is located 3 km from Kinabalu Park. Established in 1962, this was one of the first memorials to commemorate the brave Australian and British Prisoners of War who died in Sandakan and during the infamous death to Ranau during World War II. The memorial also remembers the people of North Borneo who risked their lives to help the POWs. With its towering pine trees and blooming roses, a walk in the gardens is reminiscent to that of a stroll in a quaint English garden.

Return to the lodge and the rest of the day is at own leisure.

Steamboat dinner is served at Liwagu Restaurant.

Day 3

KINABALU PARK - PULAU MANUKAN (B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer to Sutera Habour Resort where the journey will take about approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, take a 15 to 20 minutes boat ride to Pulau Manukan which is located just off the coast of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Manukan Island is the second largest island of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.

Check in at Manukan Island Resort and enjoy a BBQ lunch.

Free at own leisure for the rest of the day. For avid divers, at own expense, the reefs at Pulau Manukan offer excellent crystal water and beautiful corals and for those who want to enjoy the scenery, take a leisurely stroll along the nature trail or simply laze by the long stretches of the beautiful beach. For more beach activities, try the banana boat ride or do some kayaking around the island at your own expense. It is your choice.

Overnight at Pulau Manukan Hill Side Villas.

Day 4

PULAU MANUKAN - KOTA KINABALU (B)
After breakfast, free at own leisure until check out time. Take a boat ride back to Kota Kinabalu.

Enjoy the day at your own pace after checking into Sutera Habour Resort.

An hourly city shuttle service provides a comfortable transfer to Kota Kinabalu's preferred shopping destinations. The shuttle departs from The Pacific Sutera and The Magellan Sutera to Wawasan Plaza, Center Point Sabah, Wisma Merdeka, KK Plaza with scheduled returns to Sutera Habour Resort. Advance booking for the Resort's City can be made with the concierge.

Day 5

DEPART KOTA KINABALU (B)
After breakfast, free at own leisure until transfer to airport for your flight back home.
