The 300-year old city Yogyakarta or simply Yogya, is one of the foremost cultural centers of Java. Located at the foot of the active Merapi volcano, Yogyakarta was in the 16th and 17th centuries the seat of the mighty Javanese empire of Mataram, from which present day Yogyakarta has inherited the best of traditions.

The city itself has a special charm which seldom fails to captivate the visitor. Gamelan, classical and contemporary Javanese dances, the wayang kulit leather puppet theater and other expressions of traditional art will keep the visitor spellbound. Local craftsmen excel in the arts of batiks, silver and leather work.

Day 1

TRANSFER IN JOGJA- SUNSET BOROBUDUR
WELCOME TO JOGJA. You will be met & greet by our guide at Jogja Airport to be transferred to and check – in into the Manohara hotel. Sunset at Borobudur The rest is free program.

Day 2

SUNRISE BOROBUDUR – MERAPI TOUR - MALIOBORO (B, L ,D)
Start at 05:00 am to admire the magical sunrise at the great Budhist temple Borobudur and discover its mystery and history. A short stop at Pawon & Mendut temples, then proceed to view the beauty of Gunung Merapi from Kali adem Village, passing Salak Fruit Plantation - we will enjoy a traditional Javanese lunch at Saung Apung Timbul Roso, a restaurant with huts built over fishpond, offering quite and peaceful village ambiance.

Next shopping at Beringharjo Traditional market and Malioboro, this two connected shopping area offer merchandise, batik, traditional snacks, Javanese herbs, rattan ornament and handicraft - Dinner at local restaurant. Overnite at Jogja

Day 3

CITY TOUR JOGJA - SUNSET PARANGTRITIS BEACH (B, L, D)
After breakfast, visit “Kraton” - the magnificent palace of Sultan. Continue to Taman Sari water castle then onward to visit a traditional batik home industry. Next visit Kotagede to see hundred-year old tradition still being practiced by silver craftsmen. Lunch at local rest. Next visit Kasongan village to enjoy the art of clay pottery making with their unique designs. Finally enjoy a romantic sunset at Parangtritis beach. Dinner.

Day 4

DEPARTURE (B) After breakfast, you will be transferred to jogja airport.
