4D/3N Siem Reap & Angkor Wat

Day 1

ARRIVE – SIEM REAP

Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative at the Airport, and will be transferred to hotel for check in.

Visit Le Artisan D’Angkor Center, a place where traditional handicrafts and sculptures are made.

Day 2

SIEM REAP - ANGKOR WAT (B)
After breakfast, we proceed to South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last capital of Angkor period (AD 802-1432) until the 15th century, which was indeed a great city as its name implied.

Visit Bayon Temple, one of the most popular sites in Angkor complex. Over 200 large faces carved on the 54 towers, which at that time represented the 54 provinces in The Khmer Empire, give this temple its majestic character. Visit also Bapoun Temple, Phimean Akas Temple, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King, Woman and Man Pond, Royal Palace Temple.

In the afternoon we proceed to visit Ta Prohm Temple which was built in AD 1186 by King Jayavarman VII. Trunks of trees twist amongst stone pillars, and spread their gigantic roots over, under and in between the stones, probing walls and terraces apart, make this temple even more attractive and a worthwhile place to visit during your stay. The next temple that you cannot miss to visit is Angkor Wat Temple, one of the seven wonders and the greatest temple in the world. Then, you will experience sunset view on Bakheng Hill where you also can get a great view of Angkor Wat landscape.

Day 3

SIEM REAP (B)
After breakfast, we visit the Floating Village at Tonle Sap Lake, the largest permanent freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. A boat trip to the Tonle Sap is a pleasant break from the temples, where you will observe the lives of the fishermen and their families who live on the water and form the so called floating village

In the afternoon we visit Silk Farm, where you will witness the way how local people produce Khmer Silk such as Phamung, Lboeuk and Holm using traditional method.

Day 4

DEPART SIEM REAP (B)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight back home.
