Climbing Mount Kinabalu, the highest point of South East Asia at 4092.5m above sea level, is an adventure you will always remember. This 3D/2N Mount Kinabalu climbing package allows you time to relax before making your ascent up the mountain. Notice how the plants and wildlife change as you climb up ever higher and your friendly and knowlegeable mountain guide will be able to answer any questions you may have. Rest at Laban Rata before your climb upwards towards Low's Peak, the highest point of Mount Kinabalu. As long as there are clear skies, you are sure for a stunning sunrise. Then climb back down to Park Headquarters, collect your certificate and rest your weary muscles!
SPECIAL NOTE: it is recommended that all climbers have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommend that you should refrain from climbing: hypertension, diabetes, palpitation, arthritis, heart disease, evere anemia, peptic ulcers, epileptic fits, obesity (overweight), chronic asthma, muscular cramps, hepatitis (jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper your ascent.

Day 1
KOTA KINABALU – KINABALU PARK (D)
Meet at hotel lobby or airport (12.30 pm) in Kota Kinabalu and transfer to Kinabalu Park headquarters. The journey will take approximately 2 hours. En route, pass by villages and enjoy a panoramic vista of the valleys of the Crocker Range. On arrival, experience the cool fresh air and the natural ambience of the Park.
Dinner and overnight Kinabalu Park Hostel /Hill Lodge
Day 2
KINABALU PARK / MT. KINABALU (B, Packed Lunch, D)
Breakfast at the park restaurant, then by 7.30am proceed to the Park HQ to register for the climb. Meet your mountain guide and travel to the Timpohon Gate - it's from here your ascent up Mount Kinabalu will start! As you go higher, you will pass different vegetation zones according to the climate: from oaks and chestnuts to moss and eventually to alpine vegetations. Reach the Laban Rata rest house stop for the evening and swap tales with fellow trekkers.

Day 3
MT. KINABALU / KOTA KINABALU (B, Packed Lunch)
At 2.30am wake up for your early morning ascent to the summit of Mount Kinabalu (4092.5m above sea level). Meet your guide, grab your torch and head up the mountainside. Upon reaching the summit (Low's Peak) for the spectacular sunrise, make sure you get a photo of yourself on the highest point in South East Asia and celebrate making it to the top. Retrace your steps back down to the Laban Rata Rest house and make your onwards descent to the Timpohon gate where transport will take you back to the Park HQ to collect your achievement certificate.
