3D/2N Glimpse of Kota Kinabalu

Day 1

ARRIVE KOTA KINABALU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
You will be met on arrival by our representative at Kota Kinabalu International Airport and transferred to a sightseeing tour around the city.

Visit Atkinson Clock Tower, Yayasan Glass Tower, State Mosque with its gold inlaid onion dome (largest dome of its type in Malaysia), Likas Mosque, Filipino Market, Po Toh Tze Chinese Temple, chocolate shop and the State Museum that was built in 1985.

In the evening, proceed to Tanjung Aru Beach to view the beautiful sunset. Later, we will be transfer to the Food Stall for some local food and drinks at own expense. Enjoy food such as Chicken or Beef Satay, steamed peanuts and corn, coconut or sugarcane juice. If you want more, indulge yourself in a full course dinner at the seafood restaurant.

Check into the hotel after dinner.

Day 2

KOTA KINABALU (B)
At 7.30am, depart from hotel for a 2-hour drive to Kinabalu Park Headquarters. The Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site which is known for its diverse range of flora and fauna and the majestic Mount Kinabalu. The local Kadazan Dusun named the mount  Aki Nabalu or “Revered Place of the Death”. It is believed that the Spirits of the tribe’s dead ancestors dwell among the forbidden peaks. On the way, we will stop at the local market of Pekan Nabalu.

At the Park, the Mountain Garden guided walk provides an informative overview of the Kinabalu Park. The garden is landscaped with most of the flora species found in the area such as wild orchids and begonias.

Free at own leisure for the rest of the day after returning to Kota Kinabalu in the evening.

Day 3

DEPART KOTA KINABALU (B)
After breakfast, free at own leisure until transfer to airport.
