Date Itinerary Meals
Day 1 KLIA or Senai / Kota Kinabalu
Arrival Kota Kinabalu International Airport. You will be met by our representative and proceed  to Kinabalu National Park, established as one of the first national parks of Malaysia in 1964, is Malaysia's first World Heritage Site designated by UNESCO in December 2000 for its "outstanding universal values" and the role as one of the most important biological sites in the world.

The park HQ is 88 kilometres away from the city of Kota Kinabalu. Highways and sealed roads made the Park easily accessible. It is situated on the southern boundary of Kinabalu Park, at an elevation of 1,563m (5,128 feet). The journey will take approximately 2 ½ hours. Upon arrival, proceed to the Park HQ and visit the Education Centre and the Botanical Garden to see orchids, rhododendrons, ferns, pitcher plants, kerosene trees and others. Take a jungle walk near the Park HQ and learn more about the Mountain Forest. Later continue journey to Kundasang vegetable and fruits market. Check in at Kinabalu Park (Hill Lodge or Nepenthes Lodge or Peak Lodge or similar).

Kinabalu Park - Mountain Kinabalu
Breakfast at resort, proceed to the Park HQ to register for the climb to a rest house near the summit of Mt. Kinabalu for an overnight stay. Meet the mountain guide and proceed to the Timpohon Gate and it’s from here the ascent to rest house begins. The trek will pass by different vegetation zones from Oak and Chestnut to mossy and eventually to alpine type of vegetations. Overnight at Laban Rata Rest House or Gunting Lagadan Hut or Waras Hut.

Day 3 Kinabalu Park - Mountain Kinabalu
At 0230 hours, ascent to the summit of Mount Kinabalu (4092.50m above sea level). Upon reaching the summit (Low’s Peak), an opportunity to take photographs on the highest point in South East Asia. In clear weather, a spectacular sunrise awaits weary climbers. Retrace route back to Laban Rata Rest house and onward descent to Timpohon gate where transport will take you to the Park HQ to collect your achievement certificate. Later transfers back to Kota Kinabalu.

Breakfast at hotel, free until time transfer to airport for your flight back to home.
